Presentation Gold 7 is the new Upgrade for
Version 6.
This is the most commonly distributed program we offer.
Presentation Gold is used by:
-
Our Partner Labs and given to their
Photographers to use free of charge and send orders to their labs.

Is also used by our Preview Gallery
Subscribers who do not work with our Partner Labs.

Is used by Photographers who have purchased
the program.
Presentation
Gold is also the Advanced mode for the Preview Gallery
Order Receiving Utility. We have the Order Utility open
in the Basic Mode so that the new users of Preview Gallery
will not be overwhelmed with all the options available in
Presentation Gold. If you are only using Preview Gallery, and do not
want to use the Gold Mode, go to the View Menu, check the
option for Preview Gallery Utility.
If you have any version of
Presentation Gold installed, uninstall it before installing
any new versions.
Uninstalling old versions does not
effect any orders, or Config Files (now called Product Catalogs) you
may have in your computers.
New Program Location
The location of the New V7 programs both Vista and XP/2000 have been
changed to the C Drive. Previous programs were located in the
program files directory. Vista has caused us major problems with the
location of our Config Files and other data that is re-written and
stored. The solution was to move the program installation to the C
Drive and avoid the Program Files.
The Config Files you created
will be still be in the Performer Software/Presentation Gold
6/Config Files folder. when you uninstall the Version 6 program you
are currently using. You can move them to the new location for
future use with V7. The Orders folders will remain where they were
in C/Presentation.

FTP Connections
Not every user, but some, have to reset (turn off), or give new
permissions to their firewall settings when they install a new
version of our programs. We are constantly having to update our FTP
programs to keep up with the increased security being installed in
computers, routers, etc.
If after installing a new version you
get messages to the effect that you can't make connection with the
Lab FTP to send your orders, or you can't connect to Preview
Gallery, check your firewalls.
Preview Gallery Users: You may
have to re-enter your Gallery Name and Password in the Retrieve
Connection Screen. If you can't connect, check those settings. There
are many new features in both Presentation Gold and Preview Gallery

After installing the program, send
the registration for each computer in which you install a program.
You are welcome to
install additional programs in up to 3 computers. If you require
more than 3 installations, please contact us for details.
New Features-Improvements
1. Partner
Labs Users- you must have the Config File (now called-Product
Catalog) from your lab to be able to create orders and use the FTP
system to send your orders to your lab. If you are installing a
program into an additional computer, you can copy your existing
Config Files from you other computer and place them in the Config
File folder in your new computer. Or, you must contact your lab for
a new Config File.
2. Preview Gallery only users- You must
have a starting Config File (now called-Product Catalog) installed
in order to use the program. Install our generic Product Catalog. If
you already have a Product Catalog in another computer, you may copy
and move it to your new computer, or install this one BEFORE
installing the program:

3. EVERYONE- If your program opens in the "Order" screen, go
to the View Menu. Uncheck the "Preview Gallery Interface" option.
Close the program,
re-open it and it will open as Presentation Gold V7
